Full Day Camps at Dr. Charles L. Sifford
First Tee is offering Full-Day camps for ages 10 and up this summer! Camps run Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, during select weeks throughout the season. If you want to help give youth golfers an authentic, game-like experience on the course, sign up to volunteer today!
Sunset Hills: First Tee Family Day
A First Tee Golf Family Day is all about fun, fresh air, and family time on the course! 
It’s a relaxed, welcoming event where kids and parents/guardians, and volunteers can learn and play golf together—no experience needed. Attendees will be able to casually participate in fun golf themed activities and mini contests, all led by friendly coaches who make learning easy and exciting. Oh and did we mention, we will also have some fun treats on hand?!
Beyond golf, the day is packed with smiles, high-fives, and maybe even a little friendly competition. It’s not about perfect swings—it’s about teamwork, laughter, and making memories together.
Whether you’re brand new to the game or already love it, a First Tee Family Day is a chance to connect, build confidence, and enjoy the great game of golf .
This event is FREE to all First Tee – Families! RSVP is required to attend! Deadline to RSVP is Saturday, May 23.
First Tee Annual Drive, Chip, and Putt
Want to support the next generation of golfers? Volunteer for our upcoming Drive, Chip, and Putt qualifier! We need a great crew to help keep things running smoothly as local youth compete in driving, chipping, and putting challenges. No advanced golf expertise is required—just a passion for supporting youth sports. Click the link to view open shifts and lock in your spot!
We have a variety of fun, easy roles available, including keeping score, spotting golf balls, and helping manage the event flow. Whether you can hang out with us for the whole day or just cover a single shift, your time makes a massive difference for these kids. Plus, you get a front-row seat to some incredible local talent right here in our Charlotte community—it’s always one of the most high-energy, rewarding days of the summer!
