Mondays from 5:15-6:45 pm at the First Tee – Greater Charlotte Learning Center at Pineville
Thursdays from 5:00-6:30 pm at Harry L. Jones Golf Course

Class Structure and Fee:

$180 includes the following:

  • Weekly Coaching Classes (Once a Week for 8 Weeks)
  • Operation36 Play Days (3 Events) – Experience real golf with our structured 9-Hole Play Days. Starting from 25-yard holes at Level 1, these play days encourage your junior to shoot a score of 36, progressing to larger distances as they improve.
  • Mobile App – Watch your child’s skills grow! As they advance through the levels, they earn new skills, boosting their confidence and enthusiasm.

What is Op36?

Operation 36 (Op 36) is a fun and engaging golf development program that gives participants a clear pathway to build their skills, confidence, and on-course experience. The program combines skill development during class with opportunities to put those skills into action on the golf course.

Participants begin by playing from a shorter distance and work toward completing 9 holes in 36 strokes or fewer. As they achieve this goal, they progress to the next level and move farther away from the green, continuing to challenge themselves and develop their game along the way.

Through a combination of coaching, on-course play, goal setting, and individual progress, Op 36 provides another exciting opportunity for young golfers to learn, play, and grow with First Tee – Greater Charlotte. Like our traditional First Tee classes, the program is designed to help participants develop both their golf skills and confidence while enjoying the game.

Who can Play?

The Operation 36 program is designed for First Tee – Greater Charlotte participants who are ready for an additional on-course learning experience. To be eligible, participants must be at least 10 years old and have completed a minimum of two seasons of programming with First Tee – Greater Charlotte. This experience helps ensure participants have a foundation in the game and are prepared to take on the unique challenges and on-course opportunities offered through the Op 36 program.
