Are you interested in volunteering but don’t know where to start? Or are you a new volunteer looking to learn more about our organization and expectations? Look no further than our Winter Volunteer Orientations! Join us for an informative session where we will cover everything from onboarding to curriculum. Our team will be available to answer any questions you may have and help you find the perfect volunteer opportunity.

Wednesday, May 22nd from 5:00-6:00 at the the Learning Center at Pineville (Juniors ONLY. Ages 14-17)

Summer Program Volunteer Opportunities
Summer programs begin on Monday, June 3rd!
We have a variety of ways that you can give back and get involved, whether you would like to give an hour per week in a weekly program OR volunteer for a few days of summer camp. There are tons of opportunities!
Half Day Summer camps volunteer opportunities:
- All summer camps are Monday through Thursday for 3 hours per day (in the 8:30a-12:30p time frame)
- Volunteer for a single day(s) or a whole week of camp!
- Junior coaches (14-18 years old) are eligible to volunteer for: 5&6 year old camps and 7-9 year old camps.

Weekly program volunteer opportunities:
- All weekly classes take place Monday-Thursday afternoons starting around 4:00p
- Weekly classes meet for 60-90 minutes once a week for 8 weeks
- Junior coaches (14-18 years old) are eligible to volunteer for: 5&6 year old and 7-9 year old weekly programs

Full Day Camps
- Full Day summer camps are Monday through Thursday from 9:00a-4:00p
- Volunteer for a single day(s) or a whole week of camp!
- 90% of this camp is on course! So, Volunteers in the full day camp are asked to bring clubs to play with the participants.
- Full Day Camps are offered at the Dr. Charles L. Sifford location ONLY

Volunteer Appreciation Party
Come join First Tee- Greater Charlotte Staff as we gather together for an evening to appreciate and thank YOU for all the support you have given the organization!
This is event will take place on Tuesday, May 21st from 6:00-8:00pm at InTown Golf Club and is open to all current volunteers and anyone who volunteered in 2023! We will have soft drinks, appetizers, putting games, and more!

School Program Field Trips
Looking for a good team building experience? Join us for one of our many Spring Field Trips!
All our elementary school partners are eligible to bring an entire grade level (between 80-120 kids at one time!) out to one of our two Learning Centers for a green grass golf field trip. Join us as we take these students through our golf activities and key commitments! These field trips usually require between 8-10 volunteers for each outing. The time frame for all field trips is 10:00am-12:00pm.

Wells Fargo Championship Volunteer Opportunities
Tesori All-Star Kids Clinic
When: Monday, May 6th 4:00-5:30pm (volunteers asked to arrive by 3:30)
What: 25 volunteers needed to work one on one with a child with special needs. Pairs will rotate through golf based activities.
Where: First Tee – Greater Charlotte Learning Center at Pineville (10401 Cadillac Street, Pineville NC)
Kids Village
When: May 8th – 12th
What: Volunteers needed to help assist kids through a little putting course and hand out First Tee – Greater Charlotte branded items. All volunteers will receive a First Tee shirt, a grounds ticket, comp’d parking, and a lunch voucher for the day they are working.
Shifts: AM shift is from 9:30-1:30 and PM shift is from 12:30-5:00. Volunteers must be present for the entire shift.
Who: This is open to any compliant volunteer (background check and SafeSport training completed)
