Weather Policy (Applicable to all sites except First Tee – Greater Charlotte Learning Center at Pineville & Dr. Charles L. Sifford Learning Center)
The Director of Golf will determine official weather conditions, including temperature and inclement weather (such as rain), to decide whether classes will proceed as scheduled. Class cancellations due to weather will be communicated via email by your participant’s coach at least one hour before class begins. Please check your email each morning prior to heading to the course. Updates will also be posted on the First Tee – Greater Charlotte Instagram and Facebook pages. Weather conditions will be monitored using WeatherBug.
Heat & Rain Policy: Classes will be canceled if rain or thunderstorms are forecast during scheduled programming hours. Classes will also be canceled if the forecasted temperature or heat index reaches 104 degrees or higher.
In the event of a weather-related cancellation, a credit will be issued for the canceled programming day and applied to the participant’s account for use in a future program. Thank you for your understanding and support.
